From Yunnan province, famed for its snow-capped mountains and rice terraces, this tea is known as Dianhong or 'Tippy Yunnan' because of its beautiful golden tips.
Lively but gentle, an earthy, peppery flavour developing into a rich syrupy nectar with a hint of smokiness. The brew is an autumnal golden reddish brew, rich and comforting.
Whole leaf tea leaves can be refreshed with more hot water when ready for another cup.
