Tea was used for the cultivation of energy or chi (qi) when the monks were spending many hours in temple. They drank the tea with great reverence and mindfulness because they knew that it contained within it all that they needed for great insight and understanding.
In our tea temple, we offer a gentle guided meditation for each tea. As well as being 6 stand-alone experiences, together they create a flowing cycle, so you may also wish to try them in order over 6 consecutive days and see if you receive access to some deeper wisdom There is no need for any prior experience, just a quiet, contemplative space and 10-15 minutes.
