Stress Busting Tea
For many people, the way they first acknowledge they are stressed is the effect it has on their digestive system.
Peppermint is renowned for its cooling and calming effect on the stomach while liquorice and rose soothe the digestive tract, so together they are thought to help relieve IBS, indigestion and other common digestive issues triggered by bouts of stress.
Liquorice combines well with the black tea as both support the adrenal glands during anxious times and rose is renowned as a nerve tonic, great for ‘raising the spirits’, helping relieve anxiety.
Ingredients: Black tea, peppermint, rose & liquorice.
As occasionally people find they have a mild reaction to certain herbs it is advisable to avoid therapeutic doses of any herb during pregnancy. Not suitable if you have high blood pressure.
